Consumer Price Index for South Sudan April 2022

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased 4.3% from April 2021 to April 2022. The decrease was mainly driven by lower prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas etc.
The annual CPI decreased in Juba by 11.7%, Malakal by 42.1% and decreased in Wau by 6.3% from April 2021 to April 2022respectively.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 7.5% from March 2022 to April 2022. The monthly CPI increased by 3.9% in Juba, decreased by 13.2% in Malakal and 10.6% in Wau.
