Consumer Price Index for South Sudan April 2023

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 6.2% from April 2022 to April 2023.
The decrease was mainly driven by lower prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 24.6%, decreased in Malakal by 54.3%, and increased in Wau by 21.3% from April 2022 to April 2023.
The South Sudan monthly CPI decreased by 0.5% from March 2023 to April 2023. The monthly CPI increased by 0.5% in Juba and decreased by 5% in Malakal
