Consumer Price Index for South Sudan Dec 2022

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased 11.6% from Dec 2021 to Dec 2022. The decrease was mainly driven by lower prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI decreased in Juba by 13%, increased in Malakal by 34.9% and Wau by 31.3% from Dec 2021 to Dec 2022.
The South Sudan monthly CPI decreased by 12.5% from Nov 2022 to Dec 2022. The monthly CPI decreased by 8.6% in Juba, increased by 5.4% in Malakal and 2% in Wau.
