Consumer Price Index for South Sudan Jan 2023

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) Increased by 14.4% from Jan 2022 to Jan 2023. The increase was mainly driven by higher prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 17.7%, increased in Malakal by 43.7%, and Wau by 14.5% from Jan 2022 to Jan 2023.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 18.1% from Dec 2022 to Jan 2023. The monthly CPI
increased by 20.9% in Juba, increased by 5.9% in Malakal, and 7.3% in Wau
