Consumer Price Index for South Sudan July 2022

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 6.4% from July 2021 to July 2022. The increase was mainly driven by higher prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 4.5%, decreased in Malakal by 26.2% and increased in Wau by 40.7% from July 2021 to July 2022.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 5% from June 2022 to July 2022. The monthly CPI increased by 4% in Juba, decreased by 27% in Malakal and 10.6% in Wau.
