Consumer Price Index for South Sudan June 2023

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 5.6% from June 2022 to June 2023.
The increase was mainly driven by higher prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 28%, decreased in Malakal by 27.7%, and increased in Wau by 18.5% from June 2022 to June 2023.
The South Sudan monthly CPI decreased by 5% from May 2023 to June 2023. The monthly CPI
increased by 3.7% in Juba, decreased by 12.7% in Malakal, and 14.7% in Wau.
