Consumer Price Index for South Sudan March 2023

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) Increased by 1.3% from March 2022 to March 2023. The increase was mainly driven by higher prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 28.9%, decreased in Malakal by 58.2%, and increased in Wau by 8.6% from March 2022 to March 2023.
The South Sudan monthly CPI decreased by 2.5% from Feb 2023 to March 2023. The monthly CPI decreased by 1.3% in Juba, increased by 3.4% in Malakal, and by 1.6% in Wau.
