Consumer Price Index for South Sudan Oct 2022

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased 12.7% from Oct 2021 to Oct 2022. The decrease was mainly driven by lower prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 8.2%, decreased in Malakal by 62.3% and increased in Wau by 51.1% from Oct 2021 to Oct 2022.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 4.9% from Sep 2022 to Oct 2022. The monthly CPI increased by 1.9% in Juba, 0.4% in Malakal and decreased by 4.6% in Wau.
