Consumer Price Index for South Sudan September 2023

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.8% from September 2022 to September 2023. Higher prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages etc mainly drove the increase.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 19.6%, Malakal by 5%, and decreased in Wau by 6.8% from September 2022 to September 2023.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 2.8% from August 2023 to September 2023. The monthly CPI increased by 1.2% in Juba, 6.3% in Malakal, and 3.3 % in Wau
