South Sudan Consumer Price Index for December 2024

The monthly inflation rate as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) is 14.9 percent in December, compared to 22 percent in November 2024. This means that the average price of a 2 basket of consumable goods and services increased by 14.9 percent in December. This increase results mainly from price increases for nearly all commodities except food and non-alcoholic beverages.
