Consumer Price Index for South Sudan Sep 2022

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased 8.7% from Sep 2021 to Sep 2022. The decrease was mainly driven by lower prices of Food & Non-alcoholic beverages etc.

 The annual CPI increased in Juba by 11.5%, decreased in Malakal by 61.3% and increased in Wau by 53.6% from Sep 2021 to Sep 2022.

 The South Sudan monthly CPI decreased by 4.1% from Aug 2022 to Sep 2022. The monthly CPI increased by 2.8% in Juba, decreased by 19.4% in Malakal and decreased by 2% in Wau.
