Biography
Isaiah Chol Aruai is an accomplished public servant with over four decades of experience in government administration, policy, and community development. He most recently served as the Chairperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, Government of South Sudan, where he provided strategic leadership and managed national statistical operations for nearly 18 years. Isaiah holds a BSc in Political Science and Economics from the University of Khartoum and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Policy from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including County Commissioner, Program Coordinator, Planning Officer, and Consultant with international and national organizations. Isaiah is also recognized for his contributions to community service and his published works on education and policy frameworks in South Sudan. He is known for his organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to public service. He currently serves as Policy Advisor at the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), where he guides the Director General on various policy developments.
