Biography
Mr. Makur Chol Malual is a South Sudanese civil servant with more than twenty years of experience in national statistics bureaus. He currently serves as the State Statistical Chief Coordinator for the Lakes State Office and heads the Rumbek office, where he coordinates, supervises, and manages project activities. Before joining government service, he worked from 2003 to 2004 as a humanitarian field assistant with the World Health Organization, supporting project implementation and liaising with targeted communities.
He holds a diploma in official statistics from EASTC in Tanzania, a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, and a postgraduate diploma in business and administration from Rumbek University of Science and Technology. He has also received additional training in leadership, management, and research studies.
