Biography
Otwari Mark Odufa Ojetuk Ayiru is a South Sudanese education and statistics professional with over forty years of experience across Uganda, Kenya, and South Sudan. He has taught at renowned schools such as Namilyango College (Uganda) and Maranda High School (Kenya), and served in various statistical roles, including key positions during the 2008 Sudan Population and Housing Census. Otwari has also been active in civic and political work, notably as Secretary for the SPLM/A Western Kenya Chapter and a contributor to major Kenyan newspapers. He holds a Diploma in Education from Makerere University, a bachelor’s in economics and business studies from CUEA, and a master’s in public policy/administration from the University of Juba, along with several professional certificates. He was appointed to the South Sudan Electricity Board in 2015 and has contributed to national initiatives such as the South Sudan National Anthem competition.
